Until recently, school photos have been ... well, less than inspiring - dated backdrops, forced smiles, harsh flashes and gimmicky props. But they don't have to be that way!
Fine Art School Portraits offer a modern take to a timeless tradition. With a simple, elegant background and a relaxed, natural approach, I create an environment where students feel comfortable and confident. This allows me to capture those authentic expressions that parents love. This is a boutique service that I offer to a select number of schools each year, ensuring a high level of care, consistency, and attention to detail.
My rates are competitive and there is no cost to the school. In addition, I donate a percentage of my profits back to each school I work with. This is my way of supporting both the community and the education of our children.
What services do you offer?
I provide a complete online viewing and ordering experience. Families will receive a secure link to their student's gallery where they can pick and choose from a variety of printed or digital photos to fit their needs and budgets.
Each student will receive a gallery of 5-10 different images presented in both color and black and white.
No money is due up-front and there is no obligation to purchase. Once families view their galleries, they can purchase print collections, a la carte prints, or high resolution digital files.
All orders are placed online and delivered directly to the school.
In order to simplify things for the school, I bring all my own equipment and handle all questions from parents about ordering and products. On photo day, all I need from the school is a small space to set up and a window!
When is the best time to schedule?
I work with each school to schedule Fine Art Portrait Sessions at a time that suits your calendar. While most schools choose to hold sessions in the fall or spring, they can be arranged at any point during the year. These portraits can be your exclusive school photos or a complement to your existing school photography. Retake sessions are available for students who were absent on picture day, and we will coordinate a convenient date together to ensure minimal disruption to the school schedule.
